And realizing I somehow have to fit my entire life into one dorm room.

The good news?

I don't need everything I see on a college packing list.

I need the things I'm actually going to use.

So if I were moving into Baylor, this is the checklist I'd use.

First: Which Baylor Freshman Dorm Am I Living In?

This is where Baylor is different from a generic college dorm guide.

For 2026–27, Baylor's official First-Year Communities include:

Kokernot was closed for renovations during 2025–26 and is scheduled to reopen for first-year students for Fall 2026.

Penland also has the Outdoor Adventure LLC on its fourth floor.

For 2026–27, Baylor lists both double and triple community-bath rooms in Penland.

If I'm living in Penland...

I'd pay particular attention to:
